Force Technology is adding Aerospace Standard AS9100D to its suite of Approvals

After requests from a range of international Aero corporations, Force Technology is planning to obtain the prestigious Aerospace approval AS9100D in the coming months.

The company has recently carried out a thorough gap analysis of its business systems, comparing  the Automotive IATF16949 standard with the requirements of AS9100. The review indicated much of the high level procedures and requirements are already in place. An action plan for full implementation is now nearing completion.

First stage assessment is being planned with the British Standards Institute for early 2019.

Approval to the standard will allow Force Technology to continue to develop its world class expertise in high precision fields such as Fuel Injection for passenger jet turbine engines and other Aerospace components.

In parallel the company plans to introduce Nadcap approvals for its special processes including spring heat treatment. Nadcap is the body that develops the aerospace and defence industries’ standards for special processes & products. It also provides independent certification of manufacturing processes for the industry.
