Force Technology have invested in the latest digital ink printing technology to part mark springs.

The ink printing offers a very durable finish, in various colours, and is ideal where customers require thorough traceability of the product. Applications include engine valve and fuel injection springs.

A major advantage with the printing technique is the high level of ink adherence without any detriment to the surface of the spring, hence the fatigue life is maintained. The finish is particularly effective when applied on top of a Delta KL100 silver coating. Alternative engraving part marking technologies can affect the surface compressive residual stress and hence lead to earlier failure.
